Let’s begin our day with our morning prayer:

NUMERACY

Today I would like you to have a go at the Rigour Maths Calendar below:

2nd Level April Calendar (1)

Health and Wellbeing

Have a go at the Joe Wicks workout.  Remember to work as hard as you can and get your heart pumping!

Why not also make your own bed today and make someone’s day by making them a cup of tea!  I’m sure it will be much appreciated.

R.E.

Today we remember all those who have died. We’ll say our special prayer for them:

Eternal rest grant onto them, O Lord

And let perpetual light shine upon them;

May they rest in peace, Amen.

May their souls and the souls all the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.

If you can, please select one or two activities from the grid to complete your day!

I hope that you have a lovely day today!

Good afternoon boys and girls,

Please find the answers to the questions below.

Enjoy the rest of your day boys and girls.

P5/4 – Tuesday 31st March

Good morning boys and girls!

I hope you all had a wonderful day yesterday and managed to get out – perhaps into your garden for a play.

Today I’d like you to go out and exercise in your garden if you can or join in on one of the many workouts – perhaps Joe Wicks or Jumpstart Jonny.

Keep up with the Sumdog, Firstnews and Studyladder activities.

Have a go at these mental maths questions.  Remember try to answer them without writing your working down.

I will post the answers today at 3pm.

I would also like you to say a prayer for everyone who is sick and is in need of our prayers.  Why don’t we all stop what we are doing at 12.30pm if we can and say the Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be.  Remembering to keep those who are sick in our thoughts.

Take care boys and girls,

Mrs Grant 🙂

P5/4 – Monday 30th March

Hi boys and girls,

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and had some much needed rest!  It’s the beginning of a new week and you still have your grid to work through this week so remember to keep trying hard.  I’ve been checking Sumdog and lots of you have been on and completed your challenges but some didn’t manage to get on last week.  If you can, try and get on this week as it’s a great way of improving your numeracy skills.

I would also like you to go on Studyladder and Firstnews this week. Please login and try a few activities and become familiar with these excellent resources as from next week I’ll be setting tasks for you to try.  If you need your login details email me at MaryGrant@st-barbaras.n-lanark.sch.uk

I know it must be hard for you all just now so it is important that you remember to exercise and have lots of fun too.  I managed to get out into the sunshine yesterday and went a bike ride with my family – making sure we stayed far away from other people.  It was lovely to get some fresh air and exercise!    Let us know what you’re doing this week.  Tweet us your pictures at @St_BarbarasPS and we’ll retweet for all to see.

Why not try these mental maths questions:

I’ll post the answers at 3pm today!

Stay safe!

Mrs Grant 😀
