Yesterday, Primary 1 and Primary 1/2 visited the care home. The boys and girls wore their Easter bonnets and sang their Easter song to all the residents. The children put on a great performance and the audience loved it! Thank you to Carrickstone Care Home for allowing us to visit.
On Monday and Tuesday, St Andrews & Cumbernauld Primary came together to celebrate spring by hosting our annual Daffodil Tea. We would like to thank everyone for attending and a big well done to all the children in primary 1 and primary 4 for their performances.
Primary 1, your Easter bonnets were wonderful! Father Campbell and John Dick (aka. Ant & Dec) were very impressed.

Primary 3 went down to visit the chicks. We think they are so cute and they are starting to get very big!

On Monday, the Living Eggs were delivered to the infant area.
This morning we all got a big surprise when we saw 7 chicks had hatched! We then got to watch another chick hatch during the day, it was very exciting. Can you spot the last chick to hatch? Another chick is looking after it.
This week we made clay pigs, it was very fun. We then explored materials and had to pick strong materials to build a house for the 3 little pigs.
Miss Mooney & Primary 1/2 all dressed up as their favourite story book characters for World Book Day!
