Head Teacher’s Welcome
At St Andrew’s Primary School we learn and work together to achieve success for all. We nurture the growth of the whole child- academically, socially, emotionally, spiritually and physically-celebrating all achievements in a safe, caring and creative environment. The whole team works together to make learning exciting and relevant and extend pupils’ experiences so that they are prepared for the next steps in their education.
We believe a happy child will be a successful child and work to ensure every child enjoys school and achieves success. We do this by providing the best teaching and learning experiences that we can through an exciting and enriching curriculum.
We pride ourselves on our partnership with parents to ensure that every child is fully supported. We know the importance that parents play in their child’s education as a child’s primary educator and so welcome your involvement in your child’s education and in the life of our school. We ask your opinion on a regular basis, as well as inviting you into school as much as possible. We utilise an open door policy and encourage parents/ carers to visit the school to discuss any concerns or issues.
Please call in at any time to see me or make an appointment to see me or any other member of staff if we are not immediately available.
Working very closely alongside Father Campbell (Sacred Heart Parish) and Father Sullivan (Holy Cross Parish) we nurture and guide our children on their journey through the Catholic Faith.
We pride ourselves on being a warm, welcoming school and look forward to working together to achieve the best for all of the children.
