The school forms an integral part of the wider community, acting as a general link in the chain of communication within our area.  The school building can be used by various local groups after school.  Pupils are encouraged to think about local issues by covering local study topics at some point in their school career, and also by participating in local organised events.  We encourage community involvement through a range of events e.g. class and whole school assemblies, charity fundraising, etc.
