Well done to our September Star Writers. They have worked hard to create interesting characters, super settings and build their vocabulary. We have enjoyed hearing their stories.

September has been a great month for our Sumdog Champs. They have worked hard to improve their accuracy and have broken the school record for the most questions answered. Well done everyone.

Meet our gold, silver and bronze Star Race award winners. The children have shown a great commitment to their learning and have worked hard to achieve their awards.

A huge congratulations to all of our Sikeside Sparklers for the month of September. We have been delighted that so many of our pupils show so many of our school values in their everyday tasks.

September has been a busy month for some of our pupils. They have had some amazing achievements in swimming, horse riding, football, Taekwondo, dancing and cheerleading. We loved seeing all of their trophies and certificates.

We are delighted to announce that we have appointed  new School Captains, House Captains and Vice-Captains for 2022-23. The children wrote and delivered fantastic speeches and all the children and adults voted on the nominees. We were very proud of how all the children conducted themselves and the maturity they showed when the results were shared.

P7/6 are confident individuals. They spent a lot of their own time writing and preparing their presentations. PowerPoints, props, posters and cue cards,! Well done to everyone.

Primary 1 were busy in the garden. Lots of work to do! Feed the birds, plant some peas and water it all. Many hands made light work of it all.

Today the Eco Committee went litter picking in the local woods. We collected so much rubbish that we decided to make posters to stop people dropping litter!
