Remember to bring a healthy snack, no sweets nor chocolate bars please.  A small sandwich, fruit and water would be perfect. If you need to borrow any of the nursery waterproof trousers then you can take them home on the Thursday if needed.

Nurturing Nature Transition Event with Dykehead Primary School. Children should meet Nicola in the main admin building at 8.45 am (Sienna, Taylor, Kai, Lily, Khandi, Jay, Jessica, Neive) where we walk to the Nature Park to meet the children’s Primary Teacher and their friends who went to school last year.

You should aim to collect your child from the nursery at around 11.30 am.  Please dress for the weather and bring along a small healthy snack.

Thank you to everyone who has so kindly donated an item to the children’s snack basket last week, it really does help to provide the children with a nutritious well balanced snack during their session.

We are continuing to offer the children some hot toast in the morning and a small sandwich  with a carton of milk during our soft start Welcome Times.

Children’’ Christmas Parties, full details are in the newsletter and on the ONELAN screen in the cloakroom. Why not stay and enjoy the festivities with your child, we are always grateful for help on these occasions, whether it’s to join in the games or help serve the party food.

This week is Gillian’s last few days as she finishes for her maternity leave, we look forward to hearing  the arrival of a new sibling for Orla.  Pamela has agreed to work full time to cover for Gillian’s leave therefore Pamela will be with the centre five full days.

In the new year we welcome Lynn Donnelly, student who will be undertaking her practical placement whilst she is studying early learning and childcare.

The staff at the centre would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a peaceful New Year with your loved ones.🎄
