Families in the birth to three building had a fantastic time exploring the sensory bus.
Here we are using all our senses to explore together. We also listened to “shark in the park” story and sang some familiar songs and rhymes. We are all looking forward to some messy play on the bus next week.
The children have been very busy exploring the learning environment both indoors out. We have all been having lots of fun climbing, sliding and investigating our new Treetop Lodge climbing Frame.
We have also welcomed our new children into the early level playroom and all are settling in very well.
The children within the early level playroom will be exploring a variety of fun interesting books during Nurturing Early Readers. The children will be introduced to new vocabulary, develop an understanding of story elements and develop higher order thinking and extend language skills.

Elaine will be consulting with parents to dicuss the Caterpillar Group children’s personal plans.
Jennifer and Liz will be supporting in the early level playroom today.
Wednesday 2nd
Jackie and Lynn will be hosting the Community Transition Planning Meeting

Thursday 3rd
Community Learning & Development worker Jen will be hosting a meeting within the parents room from 10am-11am & 2-3pm to introduce herself to new and existing parents and to discuss her role within Shotts Family Learning Centre
