This is our first post about what we have done in room 17on Friday and Monday. Â On Friday we came in and collected Mary’s Meals backpacks for children who aren’t as fortunate as us. Â Then we went straight to swimming. Â When we got there one group went straight to swimming first and the other group went to dry sports (volleyball) first. Â When we were in the swimming pool we going over a few different strokes an then at dry sports we were doing some volleyball games. Â Everybody in room 17 really enjoys going to swimming and dry sports. Â When we came back from swimming our class took part in UNICEF day for change by wearing something on our head whether it was a hat or a pair of pants. Â We liked taking part in it because we got to wear stuff that we wouldn’t normally get to wear to school. Â Monday morning was fairly normal. Â We did some maths and reading. Â In the afternoon we did art with peppers ! Â We got put into partners and then the teacher cut the peppers in half, and every pair got a half, then we each had to draw what we could see, once we had finished drawing it we got black chalk and had to smudge it in using light and dark. Â Our class enjoyed this because we love to do art.
