Pupils in Primary 6 enjoyed another visit to Ravenswood Marsh on Friday afternoon. Carrick joined us and helped the group to identify pond life at the marsh. We noticed that the tadpoles in our class tank have developed far quicker than those at the marsh. This is because our class tank has a stable light source and constant temperature. The marsh gets very cold, especially at night, so the difference was quite extreme. We used our collecting tubs and a white tray to collect some samples to investigate further under the microscope. Thank you Carrick for letting our class borrow an amazing microscope. It is fantastic being able to get such a super view of our collections.
