At Plains Primary we pride ourselves in the smart appearance of our pupils
who wear uniform on all occasions.
Our school uniform consists of black skirt/trousers and either:
White shirt & school tie OR School polo-shirt & sweat-shirt
Pupils are required to change into indoor shoes whilst in class
and particularly for the gym hall.
These shoes should be easy and quick to put on and should not have a black sole.
A gym kit is required for taking part in our 2 hours of Physical Education.
Indoor kit: black shorts and white t-shirt.
Outdoor kit: tracksuit/jogging bottoms, jumper, waterproof and outdoor trainers.
Please put your child’s name on ALL items of clothing!
Jewellery should not be worn to school and
earrings must be removed or covered over for P.E lessons.
Unacceptable clothing includes:
- football strips or clothing in football colours
- items which are advertising alcohol or tobacco
- items which have inappropriate slogans (e.g. religious/political)
- items made of flammable materials
