Term 3 is our turn to have Gordon visit us from the allotment. We have made bird feeders and are in the middle of making bird houses.
Loch Tay have been working hard during mental maths time to think of as many facts as they can for different numbers. They are able to add, subtract, multiply, divide and say the numbers before and after.
Thanks to funds raised through Christmas raffles, craft sale and show admissions, we have been able to buy a new portable sound system!
Our ambassadors for St Andrew’s Hospice have organised a Crazy Hair and Pyjama Day for Friday 5th February. Those wishing to take part should pay £1 which will be donated to the hospice.
A great evening was enjoyed by pupils, parents and staff on Monday. Each class did very well reciting a Scottish poem and singing Scottish songs. We all enjoyed the tablet & shortbread! Well done to Leah, Eilidh, Chloe G & Zac for winning the class poetry competition.
Our JRSOs have organised a “Be Bright, Be Seen” Fashion Show for Friday 22nd January. Children who wish to participate are asked to come to school dressed in their brightest and most colourful clothes. The cost of taking part is £1. A prize for the most creative costume will be awarded to one boy and one girl. We are looking forward to seeing their creations!!
Children in Primaries 1-3 enjoyed party games, dancing and a very special visitor at their Christmas party.
