Please come along and work with your child to find fun ways to practise reading, writing and counting in your every day routine. On the 25th November at the end of National Book Week, every P1-3 child should receive a Read, Write, Count bag of goodies
Helen McKay (CLD Parent Worker) is leading the challenge to increase reading in the village of Plains. Parents are invited to come to a fun session with their P4-7 child on Tuesday afternoons between 1.30-2.50pm. This week, a parent craft group will begin making items to sell at a Christmas Craft Sale for pupils on Friday 2nd December. Pupils will be involved in making these items. More information will follow nearer the time.
The Parent Council will be running discos on Monday 31st October. P1-3 6.30pm-7.30pm P4-7 7.45pm-8.45pm £1.50 on the door. Price includes snack and apple dooking. Plains Primary children only please and no adults unless pre-arranged as a helper.
