Primary 6/5 Ladywell P.S 2016-17

• Primary 6/5 are organising a Good Quality Second Hand Uniform Sale for the end of term. All money raised will go to the school fund.
• We would like any undamaged, no longer needed Ladywell school uniform items. There are a variety of school uniform items we would like which includes trousers/skirts shirts, polo shirts, cardigans, P.E t-shirts and shorts etc… All Uniform items must be in by Wednesday 14th June 2017

The children used a chatterbox to convert Fractions into Decimals.

P6/5 had a wonderful day dressed up as their favourite book characters. They took part in a parade, performed a short drama sketch and created their own mini books. Here are a few pictures of them enjoying the activities!

A great afternoon in Ladywell PS at the Literacy Parent Drop In.

Our focus for this session was Reading.

Thank you to all who managed to attend.  Our pupils worked so hard to demonstrate their literacy skills in a variety of reading tasks.

A special thanks to all teachers and staff who prepared an excellent session to showcase pupil learning at Ladywell PS.

Primary 6/5 are entering their short stories to this years BBC Radio 2 – 500 words competition.  The children have been working hard on their stories to make them imaginative, interesting and original.  Best of luck to everyone!

The children used their quick adding and subtracting skills within 20 to beat their partner at a game of strike it out!

Halloween Fun, dooking for apples and watching the parade. Brilliant costumes!!

The children took part in athletics and Tae Kwon Doe.

The children also took part in football training with a Motherwell Football Coach.
