All children are entitled to a free part-time nursery place in line with Scottish Government guidance. Children who will be three before 1 March 2021 will be entitled to a funded nursery place during session 2020/21.
The funding dates for 2020/21 are as follows:
- Children who reach 3 years of age between 1 March and 16 August 2020: the start date will be 12 August 2020.
- Children reaching 3 years between 17 August 2018 and 28 February 2021: the start date is the day after the child’s 3rd birthday.
Parents of children eligible to begin nursery education should complete the application form, available from the school office, and return it to the school. This should be accompanied by the child’s birth certificate and proof of address.
