Some of us helped to make delicious smoothies for snack.

We continue to learn about patterns in different ways.  We looked at different animal patterns and reproduced some of them with paint.  We continued patterns with the shapes and made our own.

On Tuesday we had a visit from Party Animals.  They brought a variety of animals for the children to touch and learn about.  If you don’t like spiders, look away now…

As we are learning about characters in stories, the children made Stuffy the Dragon from collage materials.

Following on with our pet theme, we played ‘Cat and Mouse’ outside.  We were listening carefully to instructions.

While exploring events and characters in stories, the drew drew their favourite characters from Dot McStuffin.  They also used the play-dough to make characters and made their own story book.

We have been so busy this week.  We have made lots of patterns in the sand and we painted some lovely pictures.  Our Scottish day was great and we even enjoyed tasting the haggis, neeps and tatties.
