This week saw the introduction of our new learning context “If your happy and you know it”. We have been exploring our feelings using emotion masks, drawings and songs. This has provoked some discussion amongst the children on what makes them happy and what makes them sad. The happy dance has been introduced via our new smart board and the children have enjoyed participating in this. Indeed you may have experienced some of this at home or in the cloakroom at the end of the session!

Our Technology outcome of constructing models has encouraged creativity as well as improving our problem solving skills. A variety of models have been created in the art area using household junk. We would appreciate any donations of empty boxes, cartons or tubs to allow the children to continue with these over the coming week. Models have also been developed in the construction area using blocks.
