Our Lady and St. Francis Primary School

Week Ending 26th August 2016

Our first full week back at school is now complete, and a busy one it was too!  The SSPCA visited every class and spoke to our pupils about the importance of looking after our pets.   Some of our children enjoyed gardening with Mr Kellman and harvested some of their crops that they planted with him earlier in the year.  Our P7 pupils represented our school very well at the Year of Mercy Mass at the Grotto on Friday and the sun shone for them.  Our pupils enjoyed their first Golden Time of our new school year on Friday and our Primary 1 pupils are settling very well.

Looking to our week ahead, it looks set to be a lovely week so we will be maximising our outdoor area; please apply sun cream before your child comes to school each day.  Pupil Voice takes place on Friday afternoon and our choir will be performing at Motherwell Civic Centre on Saturday.  This is part of the Family History Society event and we are one of several schools invited to go along.

Please return annual data forms to our office if you haven’t already done so as it is important that we have up-to-date information for you, should we need to contact you in an emergency.
