After our trip to the transport museum last week, we have all been very involved in our whizzing wheels context.  We are exploring the theme of transport by taking some of the children on a visit to the travel agents and, following on from this, have set up our own travel agent in the nursery.  The children have also participated in imaginative play around travel on different vehicles.  Along with our experiences in the travel agent this has further developed our knowledge on the uses of money.  We have made bank cards and bus tickets at the writing table and discussed what they are and where we might use them.  We even made vehicles with the snack!!  Mrs Douglas
