Practices for our upcoming Nativity performance and Christmas Carol Concert were in full swing this week.  Our children are working hard and doing well and they set to be great performances.

Staff from OLSF visited other schools within NLC on Thursday as part of our Family Group to see good practice in numeracy, PE, technologies, play, Rights Respecting Schools, Outdoor Play and Literacy.  Representatives from our Family Group schools also visited OLSF on Thursday to hear about our good practice in nurture.

Looking to our week ahead, remember our school and nursery are closed on Monday to pupils for in-service training. Our focus is maths, and mental agility skills in particular.

P4 will enjoy a visit to Edinburgh Zoo on Wednesday and on Friday we will enjoy our annual Day of Dance.  Children have been working hard, learning their dances, and we think you will be impressed!  This is a sponsored event for school funds; please participate if you can.
