Last week began with our P1s having their photographs taken by the Motherwell Times. The Virgin Media team came to our school on Tuesday and continued with the mammoth task of painting our railings – if any parents or grandparents have spare time and are willing to help finish painting the railings, then please contact the school office.
Our Meet the Teacher evening was a great success and we had lovely positive feedback from parents. The results of the homework consultation will be collated and will form the basis of a new homework policy.
For our week ahead, we will be having a visit from our link Continuous Improvement Officer, Mr Philip McGhee on Monday morning. On Monday evening, it is the AGM of our Parent Council at 6.30pm in the school – please come along if you’d like to be a member of our very successful Parent Council.
On Tuesday, the Legion of Mary will be restarting their very popular lunchtime Rosary Club in our school.
On Wednesday evening, our Primary 7s will attend Mass with their parents at Taylor High School and this will be followed by a tour of the school.
On Thursday our school will close at 3pm (and nursery at 3.50pm) and then it is the September weekend – both the school and nursery are closed on Friday and Monday.
They will both reopen at the usual times on Tuesday 27th September.
