It was a short week for our children this week, with Monday being a holiday and Thursday being an In-Service day.
Mrs Shearer went on a ‘learning walk’ on Tuesday; she visited every class and stayed for a while, asking children about their learning and looking at their work. She decided that children in OLSF work VERY HARD! Well done, boys and girls! (She already knew this, really!)
On Thursday’s In-Service day, Mrs Mushet and our support staff visited St. Teresa’s Primary for Catch Up numeracy training. This is a fabulous resource and they can’t wait to start working with children using this resource.
On Friday we had another successful First Friday mass and coffee morning. Our P4s led the liturgy and organised the coffee morning this time and our ladies said they were a tremendous help. We raised a massive £232, so a huge thank you to all who contributed or joined us on the day.
On Friday afternoon we held our monthly Pupil Voice groups, where our children get the opportunity to have their say in our school.
Looking to our week ahead, our Primary 7 pupils will be having their photographs taken for the local Press on Friday, so full school uniforms please.
On Saturday, some of our children make the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist; please remember our children in your prayers, and say an extra prayer for good weather!
