On Wednesday of last week, Mr Dorris, PT of Mathematics from Taylor High School, visited our Primary 7 pupils in class.  He was most impressed with their enthusiasm, effort and ability and is very much looking forward to welcoming them into S1 in August.

On Thursday, five Head Teachers from North Lanarkshire visited our school for a family group meeting.  They commented most positively on our well-mannered and respectful children.

On Friday, tickets went on sale for our upcoming Minions movie night.  This proves to be a great night and there are still some tickets left.  Please contact the school office if you want to purchase tickets for this night.

For our week ahead, it is our Kilbowie information afternoon on Wednesday at 2.15pm in our school hall.   All Primary 7 parents are welcome to attend this meeting, where important information will be given about our upcoming visit to Kilbowie in March.

On Wednesday evening, there will be a cluster Mass in St. Francis Xavier church for Catholic Education Week.  All Primary Schools associated with Taylor High School have been invited to this Mass and we hope that you are able to attend.  Tea and coffee will be served in the hall following the Mass.

On Thursday, our Primary 1 and Primary 7 pupils will have dental checks from the dental team.  On Friday, we will have our first Friday Mass followed by our coffee morning in the school hall.  Primary 5 will lead the liturgy and will host the coffee morning this month.  As always, we are looking for donations of shop bought baking and raffle prizes and all proceeds will go towards school funds.

Friday is the last day of our school before our February break.  Please note that school will be closed on Monday 8th and Tuesday 9th February.  School will remain closed to pupils on Wednesday 10th February for staff inservice training.

We hope you all have a restful break.
