We are now delighted to let our Nursery Families know that our Nursery Class will increase to 1140 hours provision from Tuesday 29th September.

Therefore on return to Nursery after September weekend all of our children will attend for 5 days a week.

The new times of session will be-

Full Day Children ( term time  only) – 8.45 – 2.45

AM Session Children (48 weeks)  – 8 am – 12.45pm

PM Session Children (48 weeks)  – 1.15pm – 6pm

Each class teacher will be posting a ‘Welcome To The Classes’ short video to their Microsoft Team on Wednesday 23rd September. We hope you on enjoy a short tour of the classroom and a little information about your child’s class this session.

Please remember school and nursery are closed to pupils on Thursday 24th (Inset Day), Friday 25th and Monday 28th for September Weekend. School and nursery reopen on Tuesday 29th September.

Today we held our first Virtual assembly. All of the classes were introduced to the new Primary 1 pupils and Miss McFadden presented birthday cards and certificates to our first Stars of the Week for the new session. Star of the Week pictures will be posted on the website tomorrow.

Primary 7 have been learning all about WW2. They wrote their own news reports for the day after War was officially declared.

Thank you to our Parent Council who attended our first Webex Meeting tonight. We had a short discussion around being back to school under the current recovery model and we will post the minutes here when these have been agreed.

We have agreed a further meeting for Tuesday 6th October at 5pm on Webex. Any parent who is interested in becoming a member or would like to attend the meeting , please email me on

Primary 4 have been learning about place value in numeracy.
We worked super hard today and enjoyed playing some place value games!

Well done Primary 4!

Primary 6 have been working hard to learn all of the times tables. They have been using a range of strategies to help them remember some of the more difficult times tables.

We would be grateful if parents could complete and return our first school questionnaire which is in pupil bags today. This will enable us to use your feedback to plan accordingly as we move forward together. Also, there is an additional inservice day on Thursday 24th September, before the Friday 25th – Monday 28th September weekend holiday.
