Old Monkland Primary School & Nursery Class

Mrs Clark and Primary 3/4 have been learning with Camembear. All the boys and girls are gaining confidence when talking and listening in French.

Today at assembly we discussed –

• Our fabulous new website and how to use it (info. letter attached below and in pupils bags)
• Non – uniform Day (£1 donation) – Friday 25th November (letter in pupils bags)
• Scottish Fun Day – Wednesday 30th November (see info letter attached below, letter also in pupils bags)

Here is this weeks Stars of the Week. The boys and girls were awarded with their trophy and star counter at this weeks assembly.

A reminder to our families that tomorrow is our Children In Need fun day. The boys and girls should come to school wearing their own clothes or something spotty, which is this years theme. The children will be taking part in lots of games, competitions and activities throughout the day. They should bring  their non-uniform donation money and 60p if they wish to take part in both our competitions (30p each).

Here are this weeks ‘Treasure Trove’ winners. The boys and girls collect big stars which are given out by Miss McFadden. Each week, they can collect or trade them in for a prize from the ‘Treasure Trove’.

P3/4 have enjoyed learning about measure this week.  The pupils took part in a variety of activities to practise estimating and measuring length, weight and capacity.
