Here are the winners to our different competitions to celebrate St. Andrews Day. The boys and girls worked hard on a number of  different competitions and activities and it was a difficult decision for our judges to choose the winners.

Here is this weeks Stars of the week. The boys and girls were presented with their Star counter at this weeks assembly by Miss McFadden.

Here is Old Monkland Primary’s St. Andrews celebrations. The boys and girls enjoyed lots of activities and competitions both in class and in the gym hall.

The boys and girls in Primary 7 have been working hard on ‘Christmas Frieze’ for the assembly hall. They have used a range of media to make a fantastic Christmas Tree.

Primary 7 enjoy playing mental maths games to start their Numeracy sessions. This week, we used playing cards for addition and subtraction games within 500.

To celebrate St. Andrews Day, the boys and girls were set an assembly challenge to create a Scottish model at home with their families. Take a look at some of the marvellous creations.

Primary 7 have been investigating the viscosity of liquids in Science. They used different liquids and had a race to see which ones would travel the fastest.
