World Book Day!

To celebrate World Book Day, the boys and girls were invited to come to school dressed as there favourite book character. They could also bring their favourite book to school. Throughout the day, the children participated in a number of book related activities. Our older boys and girls paired up with younger children in the school to read their favourite story. Here is our Primary 7 pupils reading to their Primary 1/2 buddies, Primary 5/6 visited Primary 3/4 and Primary 4/5 read stories to Primary 2.

Primary 4/5 Science

P4/5 were exploring how circuits worked and could eventually build a complete circuit with switch to power a lightbulb. We had fun while using static electricity from our own bodies to complete a circuit.

Primary 1/2 Special Visitor

P1/2 had a visit from a local policeman to help us learn more about the Police and how they help us.  We learned lots of different things that police officers do and we got to hold all of the police equipment.  We even were allowed to try on a police hat and vest!
