Teachers will inform parents of the type and frequency of homework at the start of each session and parents are asked to sign / complete diary sheets to communicate regularly with staff.

Homework usually consists of reinforcement of skills taught in class e.g. spelling, sentence structure, number skills etc. On occasion children are asked to complete topic related tasks which may require some personal research.

Homework should take between 15-30 minutes daily and our senior pupils are encouraged to take responsibility for planning their homework completion through weekly tasks being set to prepare them for Secondary Education.
