Bernadette Newton , our CLD Schools worker will be leaving her post next week. Bernadette has been an amazing support to us over her many years as part of the Old Monkland Team. She has supported many families through adult learning opportunities and by making invaluable connections to community support groups for both our school and nursery families. I know many of you have enjoyed working with Bernadette and have appreciated her support and kindness over the years , as have I .Bernadette always went the extra mile for our school community with a huge smile and determination to offer every support she could. The support she offered during lockdown meant our families could access support quickly if needed.
Therefore , she will be a sore loss to our Team but we wish her every happiness for the future and hope she now has some time to take care of herself, as well as she did for all of us.
If any of you wish me to pass any messages onto Bernadette , I am more than happy to do so.
