Hello Primary 3/4
I hope you have had a great week and have enjoyed trying some of the activities on your Home Learning Grids. It has been great to hear from some of you on Microsoft Teams and I have really enjoyed sharing learning with you! A big thank you to you and whoever is helping you at home for your effort this week on Teams 🙂 Remember if you have not managed to get onto Microsoft Teams yet you can leave a comment below or email Miss McFadden or Mr Henderson and someone will be able to help you get all set up 🙂
Sumdog
Well done to those of you who took the time to complete the Addition and Subtraction assessment on Sumdog this week. I was super impressed with your scores! As this was an assessment and not a challenge or competition there are no winners this but I am very proud of each and every one of you. Also a big well done to those of you who completed our Spelling Challenge. The top 3 in the challenge this week were Aaron, Enya and Robyn – well done 🙂 Look out for a little reward from me later on today!
Things to look forward to jar
Last week I posted a Health and Wellbeing activity grid as part of Mental Health Week. I have been trying out some of the activities myself. One thing I have been working on is making a ‘Things to look forward to’ jar to keep happy and positive during this time. I found an empty jar and have been writing little notes of things I am looking forward to doing when I get the chance. I cannot wait to use it! I have not decorated the jar yet but I thought maybe you could give me some ideas? I wonder if any of you have made something similar? If you have I would love to hear about it or hear about any of the other activities you have tried 🙂 You can see my jar and an example of what I wrote inside it below:
I hope you have a nice day and a super weekend. Enjoy some of the lovely sunshine!
Miss Marchant 🙂
