You might find Mrs Blevin’s nursery house she left there!  Thank you for sharing your pictures and videos with us, we love seeing them, please keep them coming!

Hello boys and girls,

We have another busy week planned.  If you click on the ‘read along’ tab you can join Mrs Brown for a Teddy Bear Picnic story with lots of activities that you can complete afterwards.

It has been perfect weather for a picnic recently, so why not make your own ice lollies to take with you and your teddy bears? Mrs Brown has set the challenge this week – give it a go!  I wonder what kind you will make?

Some of the ladies are going back to the nursery building this week to get organised and planned for August and some of us are also continuing to volunteer in the Hub schools for key worker children, what have you got planned for this week?  Let us know on Twitter or by pressing the Share button from the main toolbar.

Have another great week, stay safe and we will see you soon!

All the ladies in the Nursery.

Smile Month and Butterfly Day

Hello Boys and Girls,

We hope you had fun with the scavenger hunt last week and enjoyed Mrs Brown’s bedtime story on Friday night.  If you missed it, don’t worry – you can watch it here.

We are in a new month now – the month of June.  June is national smile month so we have included some resources below that you could explore all about smiling and looking after those teeth 🙂

Monday 1st June is also national Butterfly Awareness Day, so it is a great time to watch Mrs Smith’s butterfly video and make some paper butterflies if you haven’t had the chance yet.  We would love to see them.

Look what else is new this week:

  • You will find a letter from the Executive Director for Education and Convenor of Education in the “Moving to Primary 1” section from the main toolbar.
  • Mrs Blevin’s is reading us a story all about a birthday treat. There are lots of resources around months of the year and birthdays on the read-a-long page.
  • Mrs Martin has set the challenge this week – it is a science experiment. Head over to the weekly challenge page to give it a go.

Remember to keep in touch, share your work with us on Twitter and in the Nursery Zone and we will see you all soon.  Miss you lots.
