Book Week Scotland

Celebrate Book Week Scotland with this 8-bit game!

www.scottishbooktrust.com/book-week-scotland/rabbie-burns-saves-the-world

“A new 8-bit game, made exclusively for Book Week Scotland by Scottish poet Calum Rodger, allows you to take control of Scotland’s finest writers, and in the guise of Rabbie Burns himself, lead them in a quest to save the world. Find lost words, put recalcitrant characters back in their place and become one with the mountains on this epic journey, which will prove once and for all that the pen really is mightier than the sword!”

Competition time!

Book Week Scotland starts next week and to celebrate, the library is running a competition. The winning design of a book-inspired face mask will be turned into an actual mask for the winner to wear! More information and a form are available from Ms Boyd, library Teams or your English teacher. All entries must be submitted by P7 on Monday 30th November. May the odds be ever in your favour!
