Health & wellbeing week

The Shelf Help section is usually found on the green book trolley. Unfortunately this is being used for quarantined books at the moment and so the books below are on the library shelves. Please ask Ms Boyd for help in finding anything.

Ebooks & audiobooks

There is a new display in the Library and it is all about borrowing ebooks and audiobooks! You can borrow these for free from CultureNL Libraries and you can even join online, if you aren’t already a member.

Ask Ms Boyd about this service or take a leaflet or bookmark from the display.

Library catalogue online

This is a short introduction to the Library catalogue online (or library app). Anyone can search the catalogue as a guest but if you have your login details, you can reserve books, create reading lists, and check your current and past loans. Find out more in the Sway presentation.

Who is your favourite Dr Who?

David Tennant has been voted the best Doctor by Dr Who fans. No matter who your favourite is, the Library has a small selection of fiction, graphic novel and “choose your own adventure” books featuring different Doctors.

If you would like to request a book, ask Ms Boyd, or use the library app or book request form.

And the winner is…

Congratulations to Kyle in S3 who won the library prize draw for returning his books. Kyle has won a Tesco voucher, sweets and stationery.

And don’t forget to hand back YOUR overdue books if you have any! Books can be handed in to the Library during your English period or to your English teacher. There is also a box outside the Office if you are passing by. There are no fines or comments, no matter how late the books are!

Requesting books form

To make life easier, there is now a QR code that links to the online form for requesting library books. Just scan the code on the posters around the English corridor and complete the form!

Requesting books

It’s time to get back into your reading habit! While the Library isn’t open at break or lunchtime, use this form to request some new reading material. You will be able to reserve books via the library web app once you get your login details.

Don’t forget that you can still access eBooks with CultureNl Libraries. You can join online from home.
