On the 17th of May Kirk O’ Shotts will be attending a Malawi football festival at St Ambrose High School. This festival is taking place to raise awareness for Malawi so we can try our best to help them. The people that are attending are Warren, Brandon, Melissa, Isaac, Conner, Shilan, Billie, Harlee, Kieran and Louis. We are all looking forward to this festival and we will keep you updated on the day.

P3/4 Maths
Primary 1/2
Space and Craters
Primary 1/2 were making the moon and adding details like craters. They used shaving foam, paint and sand. Well done boys and girls.
Primary 3/4
Primary 3/4 have learned a lot about Stirling Castle.
Swimming
Primary 5 pupils are away swimming this morning.
House Treat
Well done to Lang house who were the winners of this terms house points. They enjoyed an afternoon of bouncy castles and music fun.
Fun in the Snow
We spent a SHORT time outside today having a snowman competition. Have a look at out brilliant creations.
Inter-generational Showcase Wednesday 17th January 11am
Scottish Assembly- Monday 29th January
Family and friends are invited to our Scottish themed assembly on Monday 29th January at 1.30pm.
Children are working hard to perform songs and poems and produce art work related to Scotland. Pupils are invited to enter an in-school individual poetry competition, the winners of which will perform at the assembly. Certificates and prizes will be awarded to the winners of poetry and art competitions at the assembly.
Refreshments will be served afterwards. Please dress your child in something “Scottish”, eg something tartan, A Scotland National sports top (no football clubs) or something blue and white.
