This week it is Week 3 for lunch. Remember all P1 – P3 pupils are entitled to Free School Meals. Pupils in P4-7 who pay for their meal, the cost is £2. The menu is subject to change this week due to difficulties with deliveries following the adverse weather conditions last week.

NLC have just announced all NLC schools and nurseries will be closed tomorrow (Friday 2nd March) due to the continued weather warnings. Further information and updates will be provided on the NLC website, https://www.northlanarkshire.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=20199
We will continue to publish suggested activities which can be completed at home via class dojo (if teachers can access it at home) and via twitter. Let us know what you are doing by tweeting us @HolytownPS. House points on offer.
Keep warm, keep safe and follow the advice from the Scottish Government and Police Scotland.

Due to the severe weather warnings, ALL schools and nurseries in North Lanarkshire will be CLOSED tomorrow (Thursday 1 March). Updates will be provided through the NLC website https://www.northlanarkshire.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=20199

Please continue to seek advice on travel and safety from the Met Office and Transport Scotland. #staysafe
We will continue to update the twitter feed @holytownps with activities which can be completed at home. Some teachers can access Class Dojo from home and may also update you with possible activities.
All World Book Day activities will be completed at a later date.
Please share this information with as many families as possible.

All NLC schools are closed today, Wednesday 28th February. Therefore Holytown Primary School and Nursery Class will be closed. NLC will provide updates on their website

There are still lots of activities children can be completing at home. 1why don’t you continue with your readathon, write a book review, change a book into a “movie” and perform it to a member of your family. Continue reading in unusual places (remember to tweet @holytownps #readinginunusualplaces) or You could also start your Blue Peter Badge entry. Or even build a snowman!

Have a wee look at what is happening in our school and nursery next week. Remember Monday and Tuesday are holidays and Wednesday
