Rooms 5 & 6 would like to invite their parents and friends to their Remembrance Day Assembly at 9.30am on Wednesday 11th November. The children have been working hard on this and I am sure it will be throughly enjoyable. We look forward to seeing you there.

From Monday 9th November our Breakfast Club will only cost 20p per pupil. This is great value for money with pupils receiving cereal, toast and fruit juice.
Breakfast Club is from 8.15am until 8.45am. We would ask that all children attending the Breakfast Club are in the junior open area by 8.30am to allow all pupils adequate time to eat their breakfast.
Please complete the form given out to pupils today if you would like your child (ren) to attend.

Our Parental Consultations are taking place on Wednesday 4th November and Thursday 5th November. Times have already been issued.
Due to time constraints, consultation meetings are limited to 10 minutes per pupil. Please do not be offended if a teacher terminates a discussion after this time.
Parental Consultations will take place in the gym hall.

Our Book Fair is in school this week. All children will get a chance to have a wee look a the books and purchase one if they would like throughout the week. The book fair will also be open during our Parental Consultations on Wednesday and Thursday.

If you would like to place an order for your child’s Christmas Card, please ensure the Illustration, Order Form and money are all returned to school by Friday 6th November. We cannot accept late orders, these will have to be ordered directly from the suppliers with a 5% additional fee.

Our Parent Council AGM will take place on Monday 2nd November at 6pm. At this meeting new office bearers will be elected. We would like to welcome any new members. Please come along.
The Parents and Friends Association will meet after the Parent Council AGM, to discuss the Hallowe’en Disco as well as plan for the Christmas Fayre (Friday 27th November).

Our Parent and Friends Association have organised their Annual Hallowe’en Disco for tomorrow night. Tickets costing £1 are available from the Nursery and in the Junior Open Area at playtime
Nursery to Primary 3 pupils is from 5.45pm – 6.45pm. All nursery pupils should be accompanied by an adult.
Primary 4 – Primary 7’s disco is on from 7pm – 8pm.
There will be a tuck shop open at both discos.
All pupils must be collected by a responsible adult at the end of their disco.

Room 5 & Room 6 will be visiting the Science Centre tomorrow. The bus is leaving at 9.10am, all pupils must be in school on time to ensure the bus doesn’t leave without them.
Pupils should wear their full school uniform and bring all their lunch/snacks in a disposable bag.
Pupils may bring a small amount of pocket money with them to spend in the gift shop.
We are sure they will have a great time, have a wee look at the class blog to see the photographs.
