The Nursery staff and children have all been working hard and will be performing the nativity on Monday 21st December. Wriggly Nativity is sure to be a crowd pleaser and we are looking forward to seeing all parents and families on Monday.
Parents are welcome to take their children home at the end of the performances.
Performances will start at 9.30am and 1.30pm.

School closes at 2.30pm for all pupils on Tuesday 22nd December and reopens at Wednesday 6th January at 9.00am.
Pupils may wish to wear their Christmas Jumpers on this day.
All the pupils and staff would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Congratulations to the term’s winning house GLAMIS. This term’s treat is a DVD afternoon with popcorn, crisps and drinks, which will take place on Monday 21st December.
After much consideration, the house captains decided on Minions, which has been classified U by the bbfc (British Board of Film Classification)
If you do not wish your child to watch this movie or they have any dietary requirements, please let us know in writing on Monday.

The Nursery will have their Christmas Parties on Tuesday 22nd December. Both parties will be during the normal session times with a Special Visitor arriving at 11.15 & 2.10. Parents are welcome to join us at these times in the school hall.
Parents are also welcome to take their children with them after our visitor has left.

All Christmas parties will be from 1.30pm until 3.00pm. There will be no early lunch for pupils on the day of their party. Pupils who are going home for their lunch should be collected from their classroom door at 12.30pm. Pupils who are getting changed in school, will be able to get changed in class between 1.15pm & 1.30pm. If pupils go home to get changed we do not have supervision to allow them back into the school before 1.15pm.

Our annual Christmas Concerts will take place on Monday 14th December at 1.00pm for pensioners.
Concerts for parents are on Tuesday 15th December at 9.30am, 1.00pm and 6.00pm. The concert is lasting approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.
In order to make sure all pupils are here in time for the evening performances, the arrangements are as follows:
Rooms 1, 2, 3 and 4 should arrive at school at 5.30pm.
Rooms 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 should arrive for 5.45pm and
Room 12 should arrive for 6.15pm. All members of the choir should arrive by 5.45pm. All pupils should enter via their own classroom door.
We would appreciate all members of the audience staying until the end of the performance.
If you are not attending the concert then children can be collected at the following times from their classroom door;
Rooms 1, 2, 3 & 4 – 6.30pm
Rooms 5, 6 & 9 – 7.00pm
Rooms 7, 8, 9, 11 & 12 – 7.30pm.
All classes have been working really hard and I am sure you will throughly enjoy the show.

On Wednesday 9th December, we will be having our Annual Christmas Lunch. Menus and order forms have been sent out and should be returned to the school office by Friday 4th December.
If pupils have a Christmas Jumper they can wear it on this day.

Our wonderful Choir are through to the final 11 of the Regent Centre Hamilton’s School Choir Competition.
This year 11 choirs will compete throughout December for their chance to win £500. Make sure our choir is in with a chance of winning by voting online.
Voting goes live at 8:30am on Monday 30th November and will close at 10am on Saturday 14th December.
The winner will be announced in the centre on the 18th December at 11:30am and will be presented with the £500 prize.
The Choir will be performing on Thursday 10th December in the Regent Centre.

This week OSCARS were award for Successful Learners and Exceptional Effort. Pupils who win the award will have their photograph displayed on the board in the foyer, come in have a wee look and tell us what you think.
