IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! Head-lice are out and about in Holytown Primary School and Nursery Class. Please take the time to check your child’s hair and, if necessary, treat them before they return to school. Together, we can beat them!!!

Tomorrow is our Numeracy Open Morning from 9.15am until 10.00am. We are looking forward to welcoming as many parents as possible into our school to see our fabulous children at work.

We have three Early Years Student within the nursery at the moment; Miss Anderson, Miss O’Hara & Miss Davies. They have been working closely with and learning from our fabulous and experienced Nursery Team.
We are delighted to be joined by Miss Pollock, a teaching student who will be learning alongside Mrs Campbell in Room 1 until Easter and then joining Mr Green in Room 12 after Easter.
We are delighted to support all students within the school.

A wee reminder that the school and Nursery will be closed on Monday 8th and Tuesday 9th February. Wednesday 10th is an In-Service Day where all staff will be trained using a new maths methodology – Big Maths.
Both the school and nursery will reopen at the normal times on Thursday 11th February

The School & Nursery will be closed to all pupils on Monday 8th, Tuesday 9th & Wednesday 10th February. Wednesday 10th February is an In-Service Day. On this day, staff in the school and nursery will all receive training on Maths and Numeracy.
We will reopen at the normal times on Thursday 11th February.

Mr Green is starting a P7 Kin-Ball Club tonight. I am not sure what this is and am looking forward to seeing it in action – photos to follow in the class blog section.
