We learned that some native american tribes lived in tipis and wikiups. Buffalo hide was used to cover the tipis and keep them warm in winter and cool in summer.
We made some tipis of our own. Do you like them?

Hi P6/5,
I do like the tipis, they look really cool. I am going to have to try and find out what a wikiup is. I might look at Wikipedia.
I liked designing the tipis. I learned that they used buffalo hide to keep it warm when it is cold. I also learned that they were easily dismantled to move to other areas.

I liked making them but it was a bit hard to glue them together and getting the string together was also hard
