On Tuesday the 2nd of June our class went on a school trip to the Science Centre in Glasgow. We had an amazing time. My favourite part was going to the iMax which was in 3D  it looked like it  was coming right towards us it was so cool. We also went to the gift shop which had lots of different things in it. The first floor was amazing it had lots of different things to do . On the third  floor there was lots of different exercises that we could do like a How long can you hang ? which is where you  try to hang as long as you can.

Our Primary 6 school football team qualified through the 1st round of the scottish cup. We then qualified into the finals – not losing any of our games!!!

We are all very excited for the finals. 😀

Yesterday we made our own painted easter card.

We used oil pastels first around the cross and hill. We then smudged the pastels with our fingers and used watercolour paint to do the background and the hill. This made a really cool 3D effect! 🙂

We got trolled by our teacher Mrs Doogan. Mrs Doogan trolled us by saying we are standing to do our work. It’s true research and it burns off fat and so, helps with some diseases  – but we prefer sitting [: lol .

At the end the prank Mrs Doogan had a big sign with a big bold heading saying APRIL FOOLS DAY [: and we knew there was something fishy {;lol

At last we could sit down!!  I found it SO hard to stand – I’m too lazy so yeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We made AWESOME easter cakes and we were sponsored for it.

Mrs Doogan had to do the hot bit!

We each got a job or two to do!

The cakes were chocolate covered corn flakes with mini easter eggs on top!!

They were DELICIOUS!!!!

Our altar shows the season of Lent with the purple altar cover and background.

On the altar we have the stations of the cross telling us the Easter story and information about the lenten traditions of praying, fasting and giving.

We all made our own lenten promise which we are trying hard to keep.

We had great fun using the camera to take some photos.

This is our writing wall where we display our writing genre, targets and our amazing story writing work.

Our topic this term is Native American Indians and we have some super cool displays here that we made ourselves. We researched our topic and have written lots of information about where they lived, how they lived, the different tribes, what foods they ate and their religion and sacrifices.

Our reading wall is in our library area and it details the novels we are studying, the six comprehension strategies and examples of our fabulous work!
