Primary 7 have been going to the Chryston High School this term and taking part in P.E with the leaders. As you can see they had a great time and expanded their skills in physical education. Thank you leaders from Glenmanor primary 7’s.

A reminder that the will close today at 2:30pm for the Spring Break and re-open on Monday 18th April at 9am. We wish everyone a safe, happy and restful break.
We have been working really hard on our group novels and reading books. We have been using a variety of reading strategies to work out the meaning of tricky words and looking at how an author uses inference to get a message across to the reader. We had great fun using the Internet to research animals linked to our books, such as wolves (The Last Wolf), African Elephants (Poppet) and owls (The Baby Owls). Then we created our own fact files, posters and character profiles.
Today p1b made a delicious breakfast using wholemeal bread, light cream cheese and Fairtrade bananas. It was so easy to make and we all enjoyed chopping the bananas (using the ‘claw’ technique) and spreading the cream cheese. Some of us didn’t like the taste but we all tried it!
The boys and girls in the nursery have been busy learning new information using non-fiction books from our library. We made some brilliant pictures using the new facts that we learned!
