We took part in a co-operative challenge this afternoon to work as a team to mummify four of our classmates.
We then learned about the steps of Ancient Egyptian Mummification using a website called, “The Children’s University of Manchester” and wrote some great instructions; “How to Make a Mummy!”

The boys and girls in the nursery have been learning all about words that sound the same as they listen to a range of nursery rhymes . The children are making lovely attempts to recite all by themselves by completing jigsaws and spending time at the writing table to draw and write about their favourite nursery rhyme character.

This week the boys and girls in the nursery have been listening to a range of nursery rhymes . Whilst spending time at the creative table they have had lots of fun using their handprints to make wonderful Incy Wincy spiders. The children are making really good attempts to recite this rhyme on their own . Fantastic !!
