Sometimes parents decide to move their child to another school during the session or at the start of a new session and this can happen for a variety of reasons including moving house or changes in personal circumstances.
If you decide to move your child, you must;
- write to Mrs. McIlroy, giving details of the leaving date and the name of the new school
On receipt of this letter;
- a transition report will be prepared by your child’s class teacher
- we will transfer this to the new school when they confirm that your child has started there
Failure to provide a letter;
- may delay the transfer of your child’s transfer information to the new school
- may lead to other agencies such as Social Work and NLC Child Protection Officer becoming involved
