We found out some interesting facts about Billy Connolly, Calvin Harris, Sir Jackie Stewart and Sir Alex Ferguson to name a few!

Roy Lichtenstein Class Mural

P6/7 began recreating Roy Lichtenstein’s artwork, ‘In The Car’ during the school open event last Friday.  Each pupil had a small section of the original to redraw to a bigger scale and when complete, we put everyone’s pieces together to create a class mural. Here is the pupil’s work placed together, along with the original we worked from.

P4/5 have been busy building bridges!

We have been learning about the Battle of Stirling Bridge this week and how the bridge was significant in the outcome. William Wallace’s army beat the English with the help of the weak structure of Stirling Bridge.

Mrs Fisher challenged us to build a bridge that wasn’t weak! It had to hold a certain weight and we worked together in teams to create and design different bridges thinking about what structures would be best!

Have a look at the results.
