Departmental Aims
In S6 we are continually striving to provide our young people with a relevant, enjoyable and progressive curriculum which will not only equip them with skills for the workforce in a diverse Scotland but also provide them with the tools which will enable them to live independently and engage fully in their local communities. Our aim is to engender a strong work ethic and confidence in social situations, both of which are integral to positive mental and physical well-being.
Curriculum
The curriculum we offer is diverse and allows pupils to express preferences for subjects they are enthusiastic about and which will open doors to positive destinations either in college, work placements or modern apprenticeships. There are also opportunities to obtain certification for certain employment sectors in S6.
