A lot of p5 have been using sum dog or study ladder. Also we have been learning about number sequences and creating our own.  Here are some pictures of us working.

our weekend fun

We are reading a book called Iron Man. We learned that he was eating all the metal and iron and they buried the iron man.  The little boy was feeling  sad about the Iron Man but the other farmers weren’t feeling sad, they felt happy.

We have also been doing maths. We have been revising  addition, times tables and take away.

In  P.E we did races, games and Jump Start Johnny .Next week we are doing basketball.

We have been learning German with Mrs white. We learned how to speak in  German,  it was really fun.  We played a game called German boggle, it’s where you have to say a German word and if you get the wrong answer you’re out.

Our topic this term is Germany.

Hope you enjoyed.

Conductors and Insulator

Today in science  we explored conductors and insulators. A conductor is something that lets electricity flow through an object. An insulator is something that stops electricity from flowing through it. Materials which did not conduct electricity were rubber, wood and plastics so they are insulators.  All the metals objects

we tested lit the bulb so metal is a conductor. From watching a short clip we also learned that although all metals conduct electricity, some are better than others.  Good examples are silver, copper and aluminium.
