Primary 5 have had a very hard working term. We have been learning lots of new things. A challenge that many boys and girls overcame was when we were learning to multiply with double digit. Tricky at first, but much easier after having several attempts 🙂 Miss O’Brien always says, “if at first you don’t succeed, just try again!!’
Another highlight of our term was the trip to the People’s Palace. We learned loads of interesting facts about Glasgow. A particular favourite was visiting the jail. Lunch in the Winter Gardens was a treat, the sun shone for us. We had a great learning experience.
Finally, we have been discovering many things about the famous Titanic. We have been learning about the vast differences in the social classes, the building of the famous ship and we can now have our own opinion about who should have been held responsible for the disaster!!!
We are looking forward to a well earned rest and coming back for term four 🙂
