We are starting to explore time in Maths. Today we done a quiz on time to see what we already know. Here are some facts we already know:
Emma: “There two types of clocks. One is called digital and the other is analogue.”
Anya: ” There are 60 minutes in an hour and 24 hours in a day.”
Cameron: ” There are 48 hours in two days.”
Jack: ” There 60 seconds in a minute.”
Heather: “You use bus timetables when you are getting the bus.”
Rudi: “You have a time you have to be back home at night.”
Cate: ” You use a watch or an alarm clock to get you to work on time.”
Julia: “You need to know the time if there is somewhere you have to be by a certain time.”
Dil: ” You can see the time on your digital watch, tv, phone, oven, buses, microwave and more.”
Wow you all know lots about time. Maybe you can come and help us when we begin time next month.
You know a lot of time facts already. Very impressive. Well done.
Telling the time can be quite tricky – especially minutes to the hour on an analogue clock. It sounds like you already know a lot about time, though.
Wow! You already know so much about time! Primary Two are doing time as well so if you have a brother or sister in my class try teaching them something new about telling the time!
You already know a lot about time, but I remember you working hard on this with Mrs Allan and Miss O’Neill. I am sure your learning will develop even more this year.
Wow, I enjoyed reading about the time as my class is learning about this too. You know a lot about the time. My brother in P5 has been telling me about it too.
Wow you know a lot about time. My class P2 is also learning aabout time and it is fun. My brother in P5 has been telling me some facts about it.
I really enjoy it because it’s really fun and it helps improve all my maths skills.
