Maths Week

Last week was maths week and p5 had fun drawing parabolic designs and M.C. Escher designs. We have been practicing the multiples of the 2,4 and 8 times tables. P5 have worked hard on subtracting 3 digit and 4 digit numbers. We made card covers using patterns. We have also created Rangoli patterns using colour number rules. A lot of p5 have been using sum dog or study ladder. Also we have been learning about number sequences and creating our own.  Here are some pictures of us working.

  1. This all looks really interesting. The whole school had fun with pattern and it was interesting to see how many ways we could spot patterns within maths. You all look like you had a lot of fun finding out. Well done!
