Fairtrade Friday

Today it is Fairtrade Friday.  There was stalls and the stalls were face paiting, fairtrade food tasting and colouring in and games that you had to to with a partner.  Then later on we had a quick assembly about what fairtrade is and how fair it is.

Here are some of our thoughts of today :

Joelyn – Jocelyn liked the video that we watched in the hall.

Josh  – Josh liked the food pots at the food tasting stall.

Grace  – Grace also liked the food tasting stall.

Evan – I  liked the video in the hall.

Carmen – I liked the face painting stall and I got a blue loveheart.

  1. I liked tasting all of the food . I also liked the colouring in stall . I did not get round to the face painting stall.

  2. I liked fairtrade Friday when I got to get my hand painted. I did not get round to making a
T-shirt but I did get to play the game when you had think if the game was fair or not, I thought that the game was not fair because the green part had more shapes than the blue part of the picture. I enjoyed the clip that we watched in the dinner hall about is fairtrade fair.

  3. I had great fun on Friday i tried some mango at the food stand I coloured in a top but sadly I didn’t get round to do the face paint I hope everyone enjoyed and had a good time.

  4. I learned that conductors produce electricity and insulators resist the flow of electricity. We had to test the items in circuits to find out which items were insulators or conductors. All the items that were metal were conductors and the others were insulators. I am looking forward to learning more about electricity and circuits.

  5. I really enjoyed Fair trade Friday because I had fun when Lorna and I were working at the design a banana or a T shirt stall, but it was not like we were working. When it was my classes turn to go to the stalls Lorna went to the Fairtrade food stall and got us a cup of mango and pineapple after that we went back to class. It was a fun day.
