Today Primary 1 went to the Riverside Museum and the Tallship. We went on a very big, fast bus to get there. We had to buckle up to stay safe. We found out who our partner for the day was so that we could help to look after one another. Then we found out which adult’s group we were going to be in.
At the transport museum we visited lots of old shops. We went on the subway. We saw a broken car because it had been in an accident. We saw police cars and fire engines. We saw lots of different kinds of transport like bikes, trains, boats and cars.
On board the tallship we got to steer the captains wheel. We were on the lookout for the 20 rats an 1 lazy cat. We scrubbed the decks. We saw where the captain would have lived. We got to pretend to be pirates in the play area and we saw lots of pirate bunk beds.
We think our trip was fantastic and great. We all had lots of fun. Mrs Noble and Miss Kinloch thought that we were all really really good. We showed the Riverside Museum and the Tallship how wonderful children from Chryston Primary can behave.
It looks like great trip. Ruth would really like to go back again.
Looks like a fun day out for everyone. I have loved hearing all about it x
‘it was so much fun, i loved playing pirates!’ Zara.
It looks as all the P1 children had a brilliant day at the Transport Museum:-) Roxana still talks about it with so much excitement. Her favourite part of the day was cleaning the deck 🙂
